Success to Date

Forj emerged in late 2020 as one of the pioneers of NFT technology and innovation, leading the way on concepts that have quickly become embedded into NFT culture. The project launched the first ‘NFT with utility’ collection in November 2020, the first major celebrity NFT partnership with Logan Paul just 3 months later, the first purely NFT music album with PelleK in Feb 2021, and sold out the first NFT music collection that doubled as concert tickets with Lewis Capaldi in April 2021.

Forj has also been at the forefront of technological innovation for the sector. Beginning with the launch of NFT swap protocol BondSwap at the start of 2021, Forj has since launched a market-leading NFT Launchpad, a series of NFT bridges, an API to empower Spring's 8.5 mil creators to mint NFTs, and brought branded NFTs with utility to the mainstream through dozens of partnerships. In August 2021 Animoca Brands announced the purchase of a majority stake in Forj, bringing with them a strong focus on applications of NFT technology in gaming, the metaverse, and entertainment.

Animoca Brands, ranked in the Financial Times list of High Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2021, has stakes in most of the world’s largest and most successful NFT businesses, including OpenSea; Dapper Labs, and Sky Mavis (Axie Infinity). It is a leader in digital entertainment, blockchain, and gamification, driving digital property rights via NFTs and gaming to help build the open metaverse. Forj shares this same vision, and always has: to drive mass adoption of NFT and blockchain technology through the creation of unique and valuable digital experiences.

Beyond capital support from Animoca Brands our relationship to our parent company is centered around Forj's utilization of the Animoca Brands network of partnerships, projects and investments to drive the realization of our shared goals, notably in Animoca Ecosystem projects, metaverses, Animoca Brands investments, Luna LaunchPad, as well as music and entertainment partnerships.
