How are NFTs resold?
The fan that purchased your NFT on Spring can sell the NFT on a NFT marketplace including Forj’s Marketplace and Venly. The seller typically posts the NFT with an asking price. If a buyer agrees to this price the sale is completed and a portion of the sale, the royalty, is distributed to the creator. Please contact Forj at mintondemand@forj.network to be set up on other marketplaces
How much royalty will I earn?
You will earn 7% of the sale price every time your NFT is resold.
How will I receive my royalty?
Forj will send royalties directly to the crypto wallet created for you when you made your NFT. Funds are sent in the crypto currency received from the exchange. Forj does not perform any currency conversions.
When will I receive my royalties?
All royalties received by Forj from marketplaces throughout the month are processed at month end. After processing, royalties are then sent to each creator within 30 days. Please note, you will only receive royalties if your NFT is resold.
Does Forj collect a fee?
Yes. As stated in your creator agreement, Forj will collect a fee of 3% of the sale price every time a NFT is resold.
I see that my NFT was resold on another marketplace, will I receive royalties?
Royalties are only collected from transactions at supported marketplaces. Please contact Forj at mintondemand@forj.network for further questions.
Who pays for gas or transaction fees?
All transaction fees/gas fees relating to the initial minting and distribution are covered by Forj in their entirety
